"War was the first piece I made for the resistance series. Sadly, this piece was inspired by the on going massacre of Palestinians. The purpose of this painting was to experiment with my technique to eventually create Aqsa. However it ended up being a flurry of emotion, mainly anger and rage whilst literally throwing the paint on the canvas, unlike Aqsa which was more planned and calculated with the paint throwing."
